The French-German Week

The French-German Week pays tribute to the Treaty of Friendship, signed on January 22nd 1963, between Presidents Charles de Gaulle and Conrad Adenauer.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the treaty, Germany and France decided that January 22nd would be celebrated from now as the “French-German Day”. Twinned with the City of Regensburg in Germany, Clermont-Ferrand organizes this celebration every year.
The Pole of the International Relations cooperates with several partners to organize this event, in particular with the Association of the Development of the German-teaching in France, A.D.E.A.F., and the Department of the French-German Studies of the University Blaise Pascal.
